Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a 1:5 patient ratio
- Monitor and manage post-surgical patients in alignment with surgeon preferences, established order sets, and protocols
- Perform telemetry monitoring and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with an established care team to optimize patient outcomes in a 37-bed unit
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using the facility's electronic medical records system
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Indiana
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of 1–2 years of Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing experience
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility – local candidates are not eligible for this travel assignment
- Valid driver's license with permanent home address required at time of submission
- Must submit copies of all required licenses and certifications with application
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience in a surgical or orthopedic setting is a plus
