Travel Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Medical Surgical Telemetry unit with a 1:5 patient ratio
- Monitor and manage post-surgical patients in alignment with surgeon preferences, established order sets, and protocols
- Utilize telemetry monitoring to assess and respond to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes throughout the surgical recovery process
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and progress using the facility's electronic medical record system
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Indiana
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 1–2 years of Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing experience
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
- Valid driver's license with permanent home address available for submission verification
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Cerner electronic medical record system
- Background in orthopedic or post-surgical patient care
