Registered Nurse – LTAC / Telemetry (Nights)

Contract | Travel | Nights | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | 10-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license or multi-state RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Telemetry and/or LTAC experience in a hospital setting
• Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems used in an acute care or LTAC environment
