Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical in Fort Worth, TX

Travel RN – Medical Surgical (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Perform basic EKG interpretation and respond appropriately to cardiac findings
• Document patient care and clinical information accurately using Meditech EMR
• Participate in unit huddles and maintain punctuality for shift start (huddle at 6:45 PM)
• Float to other Medical Surgical departments as needed
• Adhere to unit dress code (Royal Blue Scrubs) and all unit guidelines and policies

Required Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Basic EKG interpretation skills
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Compassionate, motivated, and collaborative personality with strong teamwork skills
