Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical (Rehabilitation Setting)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (0545–1815) | 3×12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to medical/surgical patients within a rehabilitation hospital setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Monitor and document patient progress, changes in condition, and responses to treatment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient rehabilitation and recovery goals

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas or compact equivalent
• Experience in a Medical/Surgical nursing setting
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (0545–1815)
• Must wear Royal Blue scrubs as required by facility dress code
• No artificial nails permitted per facility infection control policy
• No Crocs or open-toe footwear permitted per facility safety policy

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a rehabilitation hospital or post-acute care environment
• Strong documentation and electronic health record (EHR) skills
