Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours
- Manage a patient ratio of 6 to 1, delivering safe and effective nursing care
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient outcomes
- Document patient information and care activities accurately within the facility's electronic medical record system
Required Qualifications- Active Compact or Alabama RN License
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Cerner electronic medical records system
- Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
