Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical (Nights)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours
- Manage a patient assignment with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
- Document patient information and care accurately using the facility's electronic medical record system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
Required Qualifications- Active Compact or Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Cerner electronic medical records system
- Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
