Schedule / Job TypeContract (13 Weeks) | Travel | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours
- Manage a patient assignment at a ratio of 6 patients to 1 nurse
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Document patient information and care accurately using the facility's electronic medical record system
Required Qualifications- Active Compact or Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Prior travel nursing experience
