Medical Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse (Days + Call)

Contract | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Set Schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Med-Surg/Telemetry unit during day shift hours (7a–7p)
• Monitor and manage patients in a Med-Surg/OBS setting at a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Support Step Down patients at a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio as needed
• Administer and manage medications using Omnicell dispensing systems
• Operate Alaris infusion pumps and document care using Meditech EMR
• Participate in call rotation alongside full-time staff during periods of low census

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Arizona or compact state eligibility
• Hands-on experience in Medical-Surgical nursing
• Experience with Telemetry monitoring
• Ability to work a set day shift schedule (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Comfort with low-census call periods as part of a rotation with full-time staff; up to 3 cancellations may occur during the contract

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Step Down unit experience
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
• Prior experience with Alaris pumps and Omnicell medication systems
