Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
- Supervise staff to whom appropriate care has been delegated
- Support nursing leadership to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care
- Monitor and manage appropriate resources related to patient care at the unit level
- Ensure competency of clinical staff through ongoing oversight and accountability
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience in Medical-Surgical nursing
- Demonstrated ability to assess and plan patient care in an acute care setting
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a larger acute care hospital environment
- Familiarity with advanced surgical or cardiovascular patient populations
