Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Cardiac Medical/Surgical unit during overnight shifts
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, responding promptly to changes in patient status
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, procedures, and discharge instructions
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Tennessee or a compact state license
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience
- Experience in a Medical/Surgical or Cardiac Med/Surg setting
- Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts in a fast-paced inpatient environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and telemetry in a Med/Surg environment
- Strong adaptability and ability to quickly integrate into new care team environments
