Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours
- Manage a patient assignment in accordance with unit staffing ratios
- Monitor and assess patients within a medical stroke unit setting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification required
- Experience in Medical Surgical nursing
- Ability to manage a patient ratio of 5:1
