Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (6:45 AM – 6:45 PM) | 3 x 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit in accordance with facility protocols and nursing standards
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered, monitoring patients for responses and adverse effects
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and optimize patient outcomes
  • Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner within the electronic health record system
  • Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health management
Required Qualifications
  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Arkansas or a compact state
  • Current BLS certification
  • Prior experience in a Medical/Surgical nursing setting
  • Ability to work 12-hour day shifts on a rotating 3-day-per-week schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience in a rehabilitation or acute care hospital environment
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) documentation systems
