Job Title: Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical
Overview:
Seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to deliver exceptional patient care within a dynamic clinical setting. This leadership role requires a qualified professional to utilize the nursing process effectively, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure optimal patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate cultural sensitivity, accountability, and a commitment to professional standards, contributing to the strategic goals of the department while providing compassionate, high-quality care to diverse patient populations.
Pay: $2,136 Weekly
Shift: 7pm - 7am
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for clear, professional interaction with patients, families, and team members
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to assess learning needs and implement appropriate teaching strategies for diverse groups
- Experience in leading and delegating within a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of current federal, state, and local laws, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements pertinent to nursing practice
- Demonstrated accountability and professional responsibility in patient care
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
- Minimum of 2+ years of clinical experience in a high-acuity setting
Other Requirements:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Certification in a clinical specialty is preferred
- Physical ability to perform heavy work, including exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and handling activities involving exposure to blood, body fluids, and potentially infectious materials
- Must adhere to OSHA and safety protocols for handling hazardous medications, waste, and specimens
