Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient nursing care to Medical Surgical patients within a Critical Access Hospital setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including hospitalist physicians and ancillary staff to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Monitor and document patient status, interventions, and responses to treatment throughout the shift
• Adhere to Joint Commission Accreditation standards and facility-specific policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Michigan or compact licensure eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
• Must meet travel nursing eligibility requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Critical Access Hospital or rural acute care environment
• Familiarity with swing bed or post-acute inpatient care workflows
• Experience working within Joint Commission Accredited facilities
