Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical
Location
Johns Creek, GA | Acute Care
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting changes to the care team as appropriate
- Perform neurological assessments using NIHSS as required
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Georgia state license or Compact license required and must be in hand
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Chemotherapy certification preferred
