Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical in Kingman, KS

Full-Time | Permanent | Onsite | Rotating Shifts (including every other weekend or one weekend shift per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient nursing care for 5–6 patients with medical or surgical conditions requiring hospitalization
• Utilize Pyxis medication stations, Meditech charting, Alaris IV pumps, and remote telemetry systems
• Monitor and interpret EKG/telemetry readings for patients across med/surg remote telemetry units on the 2nd and 3rd floors
• Float across all med/surg remote telemetry units on the 2nd and 3rd floors as needed; occasional float to PCU is required
• Work weekend shifts (Saturday and/or Sunday) on a rotating basis as part of the schedule requirement
• Participate in unit orientation including floor shifts and mandatory hospital orientation

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the state of Arizona (or compact eligibility)
• Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience
• EKG competency required
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Ability to work every other weekend or one weekend shift per week

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with remote telemetry monitoring in a med/surg setting
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic health records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Prior float pool or multi-unit nursing experience
