Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 4x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit within a short-term acute care hospital setting
- Manage a patient assignment of up to 6–7 patients per shift
- Float within scope to meet facility needs across like units as required
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
- Participate in emergency response activities as directed, including during designated hurricane season periods (June through November)
Required Qualifications- Minimum 3 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
- Active South Carolina RN license or valid Compact license required prior to start date
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
- Proficiency with Epic charting system
Preferred Experience / Skills- Telemetry experience
- Ability to interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias
