Key Responsibilities

• Formulate, revise, and evaluate individualized plans of care based on patient response to treatment
• Coordinate and supervise patient care activities across a 19-bed Medical/Surgical unit serving a pediatric through geriatric population
• Utilize assessment data to identify patient care needs, including patient education and discharge planning
• Recognize and report abnormal assessment findings, incorporating results into the plan of care and revising expected outcomes as needed
• Accurately document all patient care activities including wound assessment, medication administration, nursing flow sheets, and all assessment forms
• Delegate tasks appropriately to healthcare team members while maintaining organizational priorities

Required Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire RN License or Compact License (must be provided at time of submission)
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification (must be provided at time of submission)
• Active American Heart Association ACLS certification (must be provided at time of submission)
• Minimum 3 years of current Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience of at least 6 months
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• Must have personal vehicle available for use during assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Telemetry or Progressive Care unit experience
• Medical/Surgical Skills Checklist completed within the past year
