Contract | Nights | 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit managing conditions including hip fractures, osteomyelitis, cellulitis, acute kidney injury, pneumonia, bowel obstructions, and general medical/surgical cases
• May care for COVID-positive patients as needed
• Float to other departments as needed
• Adhere to holiday work requirements — travelers are expected to work at least 1–2 of the major holiday periods covered during the contract (Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day)
• Complete required facility onboarding modules prior to start date

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license — no license encumbrances accepted
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience
• EPIC electronic health record experience required
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for standard travel rates
• Tobacco-free and fragrance-free facility compliance required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong proficiency with EPIC charting system
• Experience with Medical Surgical patient populations including orthopedic and general medicine diagnoses
• Ability to adapt to floating assignments across departments
