Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (3x12-Hour Shifts, 7:00–19:00)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit within a short-term acute care facility
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5, delivering safe and effective nursing care
- Float between units as needed to support staffing and patient care demands
- Document patient information and care accurately using Epic electronic health records
- Participate in weekend shifts as required per scheduling guidelines
- Adhere to facility dress code and all compliance requirements throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health records (Epic Hardstop required)
- Ability to commit to weekend shifts (6 shifts per 6-week period)
- Must be willing to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays
- Background must be free of Nursys or background check hits per facility policy
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center environment
- Familiarity with floating between units or sister facilities in a travel or per-diem capacity
- Strong adaptability and flexibility within a fast-paced acute care setting
