Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient- and family-centered care in a Medical/Surgical setting
• Perform thorough patient assessments and maintain accurate, timely documentation
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Function independently while demonstrating the ability to act rapidly and efficiently in emergency situations
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality in all aspects of patient care
• Uphold and support the mission, vision, and values of the organization in accordance with Maine State Standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maine or compact eligibility
• Experience in a Medical/Surgical nursing environment
• Strong assessment, communication, and computer skills
• Ability to function independently and prioritize care effectively
• Demonstrated ability to respond rapidly and efficiently in emergency situations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an acute care or hospital-based Med/Surg unit
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation platforms
