Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical in Marquette, MI

Travel RN – Medical/Surgical (Neuro/Ortho/Peds) – Night Shift

Marquette, Michigan

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed Neuro/Ortho/Pediatrics unit serving patients of all ages (28 days and older)
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:6, delivering safe and effective nursing care for trauma and post-operative neuro/ortho patients as well as general pediatric cases
• Utilize electronic health record systems (Paragon/Cerner) to document patient care accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a Level 2 Trauma facility to coordinate patient care plans
• Float to inpatient units as needed to support staffing requirements
• Fulfill weekend rotation requirements (3 weekends every 6 weeks)

• Active RN license with a minimum of 2+ years of adult Med/Surg experience
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Willingness and ability to float to inpatient units as required
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel placement

• 2+ years of pediatric nursing experience
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Prior experience with Paragon or Cerner EHR platforms
