Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Rotating Weekends | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit serving adult and geriatric populations (ages 18+) with a patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1
• Utilize telemetry monitors, Baxter IV pumps, Kangaroo pumps, bladder scanners, and Dynamaps as part of routine patient management
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EHR
• Apply critical thinking and decisive judgment in a fast-paced, stressful environment with minimal supervision
• Float occasionally to like units as needed
• Adhere to facility dress code including galaxy blue or navy scrubs and compliance with hand hygiene and appearance policies

Required Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN State License (must be obtained prior to start)
• ACLS Certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience on a Medical/Surgical unit strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
