Provide direct inpatient nursing care on a Neuro/Ortho/Pediatrics unit serving patients of all ages (28 days and older)
Manage and monitor patients with trauma presentations and post-operative Orthopedic and Neurological conditions
Deliver age-appropriate care within a general Pediatric unit environment
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using facility EHR systems
Float to other inpatient units as needed to support staffing requirements
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum of 2 years of adult Medical/Surgical nursing experience
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
Current BLS certification
Ability to work night shifts including every 3rd weekend (3 weekends per 6-week cycle)
Must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify as a travel candidate
Preferred Experience / Skills
2 or more years of Pediatric nursing experience
Current PALS certification
Familiarity with Paragon or Cerner EHR platforms
