Travel RN – Medical/Surgical (Neuro/Ortho/Pediatrics)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

• Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed Neuro/Ortho/Pediatrics inpatient unit serving patients of all ages (28 days and older)
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:6, delivering safe and effective nursing care across neurological, orthopedic, and general pediatric populations
• Care for trauma patients and post-operative Ortho/Neuro cases, as well as general pediatric admissions
• Document accurately using the facility EHR system (Paragon, transitioning to Cerner)
• Float to other inpatient units as needed to support staffing requirements
• Work every 3rd weekend rotation (3 weekends per 6-week cycle) with no on-call requirements

• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of adult Med/Surg nursing experience
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• Current BLS certification
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel rates

• 2+ years of pediatric nursing experience
• Current PALS certification
• Experience with Neuro and/or Orthopedic patient populations

• Work at a Level II Trauma Center and regional specialty care hospital offering a broad scope of services including Heart & Vascular, Brain & Spine, Pediatrics, and more
