Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours/Week | Every Third Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a general medicine unit during night shift hours
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions throughout the shift
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver quality patient care
- Respond to changes in patient status and initiate appropriate interventions as needed
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience in a Medical Surgical or general medicine nursing setting
- Ability to work night shifts, including every third weekend
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience on a general medicine inpatient unit
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
