Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on an Orthopedic Medical Surgical unit
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients during night shift hours
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support positive patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the medical record
- Adhere to facility policies, protocols, and safety standards throughout each shift
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing, or compact license eligibility in Kansas
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1–2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Ability to work night shift hours
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in orthopedic nursing or an orthopedic Med Surg unit
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
