Travel Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Oncology

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13 Weeks | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 36 Hours Per Week | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required (Friday/Saturday Night or Saturday/Sunday Night)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Oncology unit during overnight shifts
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for medical surgical and oncology patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, high-quality patient care
- Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Kansas or compact licensure eligibility
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in Medical Surgical nursing
- Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts
- Availability to work every other weekend as required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in an oncology or medical surgical oncology setting
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Familiarity with electronic health record documentation systems
