Contract | Days (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on an Orthopedic Medical Surgical unit
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support positive patient outcomes
- Monitor and document patient status, treatments, and responses to care
- Adhere to unit protocols, safety standards, and best practices in medical surgical nursing
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas or a compact license
- Experience in Medical Surgical nursing
- BLS certification required
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in orthopedic nursing or an orthopedic medical surgical unit
- Previous travel nursing experience
