Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Contract (26 Weeks) | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Weekdays and Weekends | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5–7
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Accurately document all patient information and clinical interventions using Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Adhere to unit attendance and scheduling expectations throughout the duration of the contract
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in West Virginia or a valid Compact RN license (pending license accepted at time of submittal)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
- Permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility (candidates between 75–100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience is a plus but not required
- Experience working in a high-acuity Medical Surgical environment
- Familiarity with Cerner modules specific to Medical Surgical workflows
