Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Weekdays with Every Other Weekend | 13-Week Contract with Possible Extension
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with patient ratios of 1:5–6
- Perform IV starts and other required clinical skills as part of routine patient care
- Document patient information and care accurately using Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient outcomes
- Adhere to unit attendance expectations; a maximum of 2–3 call-offs per contract is strictly enforced
Required Qualifications- Active RN license in WV or a Compact state (pending license accepted at time of submission)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Proficiency with IV starts
- Permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility (candidates between 75–100 miles considered on a case-by-case basis)
- Minimum of 2 Manager and/or Charge Nurse references from within the past 2 years
Preferred Experience / Skills- Oncology experience or background
- ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification
- Prior travel nursing experience
