Schedule / Job TypeContract (13 Weeks) | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Weekdays and Weekends | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5–7
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Accurately document patient information and care activities using Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
Required Qualifications- Active RN license in West Virginia or a valid Compact RN license (pending license accepted at time of submittal)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
- Permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility (candidates between 75–100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis)
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel nursing experience is a plus, though not required
- Experience working in a fast-paced Medical Surgical environment with variable patient ratios
