Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Weekdays and Weekends | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with patient ratios of 1:5–7
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients throughout each shift
- Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner using Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Adhere to unit protocols, attendance expectations, and facility compliance standards
Required Qualifications- Active RN license in West Virginia or a valid Compact RN license (pending license accepted at time of submittal)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
- Permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility (candidates between 75–100 miles considered on a case-by-case basis)
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel nursing experience is a plus but not required
- Experience working in a high-acuity Medical Surgical setting
- Familiarity with Cerner modules specific to Med Surg workflows
