Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for assigned patients on the nursing unit and provide leadership within the nursing team
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate the plan of care for patients served through the model of Shared Governance
• Collaborate with all members of the healthcare team with a focus on promoting evidence-based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families
• Float to support ER hold, overflow units, adult and geriatric psych, and inpatient rehab units
• May be responsible for pediatric patients when floated to the ER, depending on experience

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Stepdown experience required
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Arkansas or Compact State RN license in good standing; license must be in-hand at time of submission
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required at time of submission
• Nursys verification required at time of submission
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Critical care experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• BSN preferred
• Cerner charting experience preferred
