Travel RN – Medical Surgical (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a 33-bed Medical Surgical unit with a 5:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
- Perform routine med/surg procedures and assessments in accordance with unit standards
- Complete and maintain accurate documentation using the Meditech electronic documentation system
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, RNs, techs, and unit secretaries
- Fulfill patient experience requirements including completion of White Boards
- Participate in floating rotation as needed alongside other travel staff
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Basic Medical Surgical knowledge and clinical competency
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work every other weekend as part of the scheduling requirement
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
- Familiarity with Meditech documentation systems
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new unit environments and team dynamics
