    TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73170!

    RN Medicine Specialty - Medical Surgical

    Key Responsibilities
    • Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients, documenting responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
    • Obtains and monitors physiological data, observes physiological manifestations of patients, and intervenes when necessary
    • Administers medications as prescribed; initiates, regulates, and monitors intravenous infusions and blood products
    • Assists physicians during patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatments
    • Interacts with patients and families to share care plans during hospitalization and at time of discharge, and informs them of hospital procedures
    • Delegates tasks to support staff and makes referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 1 year of registered nursing experience
    • Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
    • Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC)
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
    • Current ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
    • Tracheostomy care experience and stepdown (high acuity) experience required; Epic EMR experience required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher from a board-approved program
    • ICU experience
    • Strong ability to organize, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services across a variety of patient complexities
