    TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Omaha, Nebraska, 68105!

    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

    Location

    Omaha, NE

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | 36 or 48 hours per week options available | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on Medical Surgical and related units, which may include Telemetry, PCU, Neuro, Ortho, Oncology, Trauma, Observation, and Stepdown settings
    • Administer and manage IV drips as required across all assigned floors

    • Float within scope of practice to meet staffing needs across multiple units and potentially a sister campus location
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including CNAs, care techs, transport teams, paramedics, and LPNs where assigned
    • Document all patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
    • Fulfill weekend shift requirements (Friday night and Saturday night) with 4 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period
    Required Qualifications
    • Active or pending Registered Nurse (RN) state license (pending license accepted; if not in hand at time of submission, start date will be scheduled six weeks out)
    • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a large, urban hospital setting
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
    • Proficiency with EPIC charting required
    • Ability and willingness to manage IV drips on all assigned floors
    • Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification strongly preferred
    • Experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center (considered in lieu of standard first-timer restrictions)
    • Background in specialty areas such as Neuro, Trauma, Oncology, Cardiac, or Transplant nursing
