Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical floor, including oncology med/surg overflow patients
• Manage post-operative recovery patients as needed
• Maintain a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio in accordance with unit standards
• Float within scope of practice to other units as needed
• Operate respiratory therapy equipment including nasal cannula as applicable to patient needs

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical RN experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Must successfully pass a facility orientation skills exam with a score of 90% or higher
• Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments; compliance is required

• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers are accepted
• At least 1 year of charge nurse experience preferred for candidates seeking charge responsibilities
