TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Omaha, Nebraska, 68105!

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | Onsite | 36 or 48 hours per week options available
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on Medical Surgical and related units, including Tele, PCU, Neuro, Ortho, Oncology, Trauma, and Observation, depending on assignment
Administer and manage IV drips as required across all assigned floors
Float within scope to meet facility staffing needs, including potential assignment to a sister campus located approximately 16 minutes away
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team including CNAs, care techs, transport teams, swoop/paramedics, and LPNs where applicable
Accurately document all patient care activities using EPIC electronic health records
Fulfill weekend shift requirements (Friday night and Saturday night for night shift) and work 2 of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
Required Qualifications
Active or pending Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of Nebraska (pending license accepted; if not in hand at time of submission, start date will be scheduled six weeks out)
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a large, urban hospital setting
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Proficiency with EPIC charting required
Ability and willingness to manage IV drips on all assigned floors
Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
Preferred Experience / Skills
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification strongly preferred
Experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center (considered in lieu of standard first-timer restrictions)
Background in specialty areas such as Neuro, Oncology, Cardiac, Trauma, or Transplant
