Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

Pittsfield, MA

Contract | Days | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a typical patient ratio of 1:6
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and cardiac rhythms as part of routine patient assessment
• Float to any Medical Surgical unit as needed based on staffing requirements
• Document patient care activities accurately using the facility's electronic health record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

• Minimum 2 years of current Medical Surgical nursing experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required
• Active Massachusetts RN license required
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification required (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Active American Heart Association ACLS certification required (must be in hand at time of submission)
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Willingness to float to any Medical Surgical unit required
• Personal vehicle required for this assignment

• Experience with Meditech Expanse electronic health record system highly preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting preferred
