Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on Medical Surgical units, including orthopedic, surgical, stroke, cardiac, respiratory, dialysis, and hospice patient populations
- Manage a patient ratio of 1:5–7 depending on patient acuity across a 36-bed unit
- Float between two Medical Surgical units (5th and 6th floor) as required
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability and willingness to float between Medical Surgical units
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with telemetry, orthopedic, or stroke patient populations
- Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
