Registered Nurse – Long Term Care (RN Level 2)

Rochester, NY | Long Term Care
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days, Evenings, and Nights available | Weekends, on-call, and holidays per unit need | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and nursing assessments for a geriatric long term care population
- Implement and document individualized nursing plans of care
- Administer medications in accordance with facility protocols
- Oversee and delegate tasks to LPN and CNA colleagues
- Perform wound care as needed; no trach or acute care needs present in this setting
Required Qualifications
- Active New York State RN License (NY license only)
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a long term care setting
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA only)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Telemetry experience
- Strong communication, flexibility, and delegation skills
