Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical in Rock Island, IL

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Safely manage a patient load of up to 5–7 patients per shift in a Medical Surgical setting
• Provide care for surgical and post-operative patients, applying appropriate clinical protocols and standards
• Document patient care and assessments accurately using EPIC EMR
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Med Surg, Post-Op, or Stepdown experience required
• Surgical and post-operative surgical experience required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• Active Illinois and/or Iowa state RN license required
• Valid Driver's License required
• Must have a taxable address located at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• At least one prior travel nursing contract completed
• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center environment
• Familiarity with documenting nurse-to-patient ratios in work history
