Key Responsibilities- Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Provide direct nursing care to Medical Surgical patients, including surgical and post-operative populations
- Manage a patient assignment of up to 5–7 patients per shift
- Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and care coordination
- Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed
Required Qualifications- Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical, Post-Op, or Stepdown nursing experience
- Surgical and post-operative surgical experience required
- Comfort managing a patient ratio of up to 5–7 patients
- Active RN state license (Iowa and/or Illinois) required
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- Valid driver's license required
- Must have a taxable address located more than 50 miles from the facility
- Must not have been employed by the facility within the last 12 months
Preferred Experience / Skills- At least one prior travel nursing contract completed
- Experience with EPIC EMR
