Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Expected 36 hours/week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a mixed Medical-Surgical unit with a 1:6 patient ratio in a 34-bed unit
• Perform procedures including Foley insertion and central line dressing changes
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management
• Operate unit equipment including bladder scanner, Welch Allyn vital signs monitors, and vein finder
• Fulfill on-call requirements up to twice per contract period
• Work expected weekend shifts on Friday and Saturday nights, approximately every other week (4 weekend shifts per schedule)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Basic Arrhythmia certification required
• Ability to float to all in-house Medical-Surgical units as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification
• Charge nurse experience
• Flexible and organized work style well-suited to a fast-paced Med-Surg environment
