Travel RN – Medical Surgical (Nights)

Location

Salt Lake City, UT | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 34-bed mixed Medical-Surgical unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
• Perform unit procedures including Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management
• Operate unit equipment including bladder scanner, Welch Allyn vital signs monitors, and vein finder
• Fulfill on-call requirements up to twice per contract period
• Work expected weekend shifts (Friday and Saturday nights, every other week, approximately 4 weekend shifts per schedule); float to all in-house Med-Surg units as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid for practice in Utah
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Basic arrhythmia certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification
• Charge nurse experience
• Flexible and organized work style with ability to adapt to a dynamic unit environment
