Medical Surgical Registered Nurse

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical patients in an inpatient setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Monitor and document patient status, reporting changes in condition to the appropriate care team members
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Experience in a Medical-Surgical nursing environment
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to meet and maintain facility performance expectations throughout the duration of the contract

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Experience caring for adult medical-surgical patient populations in an acute care setting
