Contract | Travel | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for general medical, surgical, short-stay, orthopaedic, stroke, and remote telemetry-monitored patients in a 30-bed unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
• Perform EKG interpretation, IV insertion, Foley insertion, and medication administration
• Complete vital signs monitoring, assessment documentation, and point-of-care testing including blood glucose
• Assist with rapid sequence intubation (RSI) as needed
• Float to other units as required per facility floating requirements
• Document all care accurately using Cerner EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Pennsylvania
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 1–2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with remote telemetry monitoring
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR
• Prior experience caring for orthopaedic and/or stroke patients
