Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Observation unit during overnight shifts
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Monitor and document patient status, vital signs, and response to treatment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Tennessee or compact state eligibility
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing
- Current BLS certification (ACLS may be required)
- Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Travel nursing availability for a 13-week contract assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in an Observation unit setting
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
